Club Sesso To Open June 19

PORTLAND, Ore. -- Adult film star Ron Jeremy will open an upscale swingers club in downtown Portland later this month.
Club Sesso is located at 824 SW 1st Ave. near the Portland World Trade Center. Because the club is private, there is not a sign on the building.
The member's only club features 11 private rooms with king-size beds, a large group area and a couples-only lounge. It is owned by Jeremy and business partner Paul Smith.
Their Web site said the club answers "an overdue demand for an exciting upscale swinger's nightclub in Portland."

Portlander Trisha Gifford said she supports the idea of the club.
"I believe in free love, so it's like, cool you know," she said. "Right on. People can do whatever they want."
Other Portlanders said they also supported the idea, while others questioned its location.
"I don't really mind -- people have their own lives so they can do whatever they want," said Karla Oliva, who supports the club.
"Smack in the middle of downtown -- I just don't know if that's the right location," said Julie Reid, who said she's unsure of the club.
Club Sesso's grand opening is set for June 19, according to its Web site.

Man suffers heart attack outside a swingers' club

A man was rushed to hospital today after he had a heart attack outside a swingers' club, Yourswale reports.

The 46-year-old collapsed while having a cigarette outside Sheerness' Kent Swing Sensations, where he lived, at around 11am on Monday.

Firefighters from Sheppey Fire Station, which is opposite the club, were called in to give the man CPR before the arrival of ambulance crews.

He was taken to Medway Maritime Hospital, although his condition is unknown.

Kent Swing Sensations hosts swinging parties on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.

Members of the 4-Play swingers club say their lifestyle is more about relationships than about sex

When 4-Play swingers club opens its doors next month, there will be a small treasure chest full of free condoms for everyone to use.
They will be mandatory for anyone who makes use of several "playrooms" on the second floor of the club, an empty cinema at 10120 156 St., which will include one with an erotic swing and another with a bed so massive it will hold four queen-sized mattresses.
"But people have to realize," says Roy, one of 4-Play's members, "the swing lifestyle isn't all about sex. It's about relationships. I'd say it's 80% social and 20% sexual."
The club's main floor will be a tasteful lounge, complete with a fireplace in one corner and a small, secluded dance floor.

That's where members will spend most of their time.
"A lot of people don't (have sex at the club)," says Marie, one of 4-Play's owners. "Some rarely ever do, others only once in a while. This will be a nice, quiet, comfortable place to relax and enjoy some intelligent conversation."
Marie, her husband Joe and several members are hustling to finish work on their new digs, which they plan to open in mid-April.
They had originally hoped to open on Valentine's day, but work was delayed for several weeks when the landlord's development permit was suspended.
Outraged neighbours appealed the permit, fearing parking problems, noise, public drunkenness and alarm over allowing swingers to gather there would undo years of work trying to revitalize one of the roughest areas of the city.
The appeal was rejected on Thursday by City Hall's subdivision and development appeal board, and yesterday club members were back at work.
Edmonton's swing scene is fairly small, numbering in the hundreds, but it attracts a lot of curious people who check out the clubs.
The club, which has about 40 members ranging in age from 22 to 64, is one of three operating in the city, two of which have their own facilities.
Joe said a third, which caters to the city's wealthy socialites, has regular gatherings in various hotels in the area.

There are many more swingers in the area who don't belong to the clubs, he added.
There has been a swing club operating quietly in the area for more than 10 years. It was "outed" when its old landlord sold their building and they had to find a new place.
Everyone in the scene is forced to be secretive about it because too many in the general public consider them sexual deviants.
"Nothing could be further from the truth," says M.J., who's been "in the lifestyle" for three years. "This is all about openness and honesty. Our relationships are very healthy, healthier than a marriage where people are cheating on each other."
M.J., a mother of a young child, is outraged that some people would think that 4-Play poses some kind of threat to kids in the area.
"Our kids don't know what we do," she says. "Why would anyone involve their kids? Believe me, nobody's kids are going to get anywhere near this place."
Joe said he's met swingers in the city who are senior government officials, RCMP officers, doctors and lawyers.
"But it's not for everyone," adds Marie. "If you get jealous, don't come here."
She glances at Joe. "To this day, I just have to look at him and I get goosebumps. We're so in love. But I honestly don't care who he gets physical with, as long as he doesn't fall in love with anyone else."
Besides, she adds, they both can learn things from other sex partners and try them on each other.
All potential members and guests are screened through a phone interview.
"I ask very particular questions and if I get any hint of disrespect, then it's, 'I'm sorry, we're not for you.' "
Adulterers and cheats are not welcome, says Joe.
"Sometimes a guy will call and say he and his wife are interested, but she can't make it so he wants to come on his own and check it out. We just tell him to wait until his wife can join him."
Joe said since he's owned the club, there's only been one unruly guest, and he was told to leave as soon as there was any problem.

Swingers club opponents take fight to Edmonton city hall

EDMONTON - Edmonton residents who want to stop a swingers club from opening up in their neighbourhood descended on city hall Thursday.
The west Edmonton residents are trying to persuade a city council committee to block the club from opening a lounge in a former cinema.
Neighbourhood leaders, business owners and a pastor all told the city's development appeal board that 4Play, as the group is called, is wrong for their area.

The 4play Club, described on its website as a "dance and social club for sexually open-minded couples and single women," had hoped to open on Valentine's Day weekend in a renovated theatre lobby on 156th Street.

While the board only has jurisdiction over planning issues such as parking, community residents have been vocal about their distaste for the activities of the club.
They said they would rather see something for young people, such as a bowling alley or a pool hall, go into the space.
The president of the non-profit 4play Club has said people have nothing to fear, saying the club has no tolerance for drugs and would not attract prostitutes because the sex is already free. The group had previously operated a similar facility elsewhere in the city.
Last month, the city released a Jasper Place revitalization strategy, which includes a call for bylaw restrictions to stop the creation or expansion of adult-oriented businesses.
The board was expected to make a decision later Thursday.

And now, in Pasco County, they want to shut down a swingers club.
So they filed a lawsuit asking a judge to shutter Club Elite in Port Richey, reports the St. Petersburg Times.



The lawsuit alleges that Club Elite is a "sexually oriented business" featuring sexually themed floor shows and concerts.
"The performances include persons watching others engaged in sexual activities," the lawsuit alleges.
Well, yeah. It's a swingers club.
But the Pasco officials aren't prudes.
Problem is that the club is on commercially zoned property in a strip mall above a bakery, a deli and a dentist.
County ordinances only allow sexually oriented businesses to set up shop in areas zoned industrial.
The club requires patrons to pay annual membership fees ($20 for a single woman and $100 for a single man) or nightly "user fees."
They even have their rules listed on their web site.
Frankly, we're amazed that Port Richey has any night life.

The manager of a kinky swingers' club, which has been shut down, claims he has been victimised by the council.

Soho Beach House, in Kilburn High Road, a club for 'no-nonsense' people wishing to take part in raunchy group sex, lost its license last August after fears it was being used as a brothel.
Dutchman Douglas Ifedha, the club's owner, last Thursday lost his appeal to overturn the ruling after breaking the conditions of his licence and drugs were found in the club by police.
He said: "The main reason they closed me down is that they think it's a brothel, but they couldn't mention it in court because the reality is that it is a swingers' club.
"Cllr James King went round houses with flyers trying to get people to say things. There is no evidence people are knocking on their doors looking for sex."
Mr Ifedha said security and CCTV was in place within three weeks of opening and only small traces of drugs were found in the toilets.
He added: "You can't monitor everyone using the toilets. It is cover for them to close me down as they didn't want a swingers' club.

"At normal clubs in Kilburn, police are being called every day. My club had no times when police were called to stop people assaulting each other.
"They imposed strict conditions whereby I must photograph every person coming to the club and take their name. Nobody wants to do that.
"I have respectable people coming to the club - including police officers who get their pants off.
"I am being victimised. They have brought me to my knees so I will probably sell the place. But I will carry on elsewhere as I have other clubs in Marble Arch and Hyde Park."
Cllr King, Kilburn ward, who gave evidence at the hearing, said residents had complained of 'persistent thumping music' in the early hours of the morning outside of permitted hours and people looking for sex knocking on their doors.
He said: "Although there was no evidence this place was used as a brothel, there was no CCTV, no security and evidence of drug use. "This premises has been a source of disorder and nuisance to residents and traders over the last year, so thankfully we have the right decision."
Male punters paid £120 to gain access to lurid group sex activities which, according to its website, are so wild they are 'only ever seen in X-rated movies.'
PC Rhodri Evans, who has responsibility for the north cluster said: "This decision shows that police will take stern and immediate action against premises that fail to promote the licensing objectives and who refuse to work with police."

A British man accused of organising "swingers" parties in Thailand faces 10 years in jail after police raided a Bangkok hotel where a party was in progress early today.
Christian Arthur Richards, 54, was arrested along with his Thai wife and 22 others – 16 foreigners and six Thais.
Police said that Richards had advertised the "swinging" parties on his website and then charged the couples 3,000 baht (£60) to participate.
The tourist police commander heading the inquiry, Col Archayon Kraithong, said that Richards had been charged with procuring sex and placing commercial sex advertising.
"He is under interrogation, but has been charged with procurement and commercial sex advertisements, which could land him 10 years in jail and a fine of up to 20,000 baht," Col Archayon said.
The 22 participants – from France, Australia, the US, China, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Thailand – were all released after paying fines of 1,000 baht each.
Police raided the two-star Elizabeth Hotel in the Chatuchak area of the Thai capital minutes after midnight, bursting into room 1101.
In the £25-a-night room they found 13 foreign men with three foreign women and seven Thai females. Col Archayon said none of the women were prostitutes.
When the officers entered the 11th floor room they discovered several couples having sex, while the rest of those at the party were drinking and dancing.
Police also discovered condoms, lubricant gels, pornographic books and DVDs and 30 Viagra pills.
Richards and his Thai wife are alleged to have organised more than 100 parties in Bangkok and the beach resort town of Pattaya over the past three years.
Prostitution is illegal in Thailand, but the kingdom has a reputation for sleaze and sex tourism. Go-go bars with explicit sex shows form the backdrop for an industry that employs hundreds of thousands of Thai prostitutes.
Last year another British man, Byron Craig, 57, was arrested for running what was said to be a "swingers" sex resort in the northern Thai city of Ubon Thani.
But the Caroline resort seems to have been a front for a brothel were clients paid for sex with young Thai women and cross-dressing "ladyboys".

Как раз в этот день свингеры собрались впервые. Организатор клуба 34-летний киевлянин арендовал для этого на площади Тараса Шевченко особняк и накрыл там шикарный стол. Вместе с ним свингеров было 18 человек, в том числе две 30-летние семейные пары из Донецка и Киева и одинокие искатели горячих ощущений. Причем одной из посетительниц, как выяснилось, недавно "стукнуло" пятьдесят лет.
Стоит отметить, что в Западной Европе свинг-клубами уже давно никого не удивишь. Они разрешены законом, и правоохранители не считают необходимым вмешиваться в личную жизнь людей. Но в нашей стране создание подобных мест считается поводом для возбуждения уголовного дела.
«Во-первых, организатор зарабатывал на этих встречах деньги. Вход для семейной пары, а также для одного мужчины стоит 200 баксов. Соответственно, делец мог заработать за один день около $2000. - Во-вторых, речь идет о месте разврата», - говорит замначальника ЦОС ГУ МВД в Киеве Владимир Дмитренко.
Сейчас идеолог свинг-клуба находится под арестом. Против него возбуждено уголовное дело. После суда ему светит от 2 до 7 лет тюрьмы.

SWINGERS are holding parties with a ratio of three men to every woman in a house next to a Calamvale primary school.
On average 30-35 women and 90 men attend the parties, held every four to five weeks.
The next gang bang party is on February 7 but more ``intimate’’ events are held on Friday and Saturday nights each week at the Benhiam St property next to Calamvale Community College Junior School.
The parties, which Brisbane City Council is trying to shut down, is hosted by swingers club Brizzy Bangers and flouts planning regulations.
Benhiam St resident Denise Pagett, who lives opposite the club, had no complaints about the partygoers but said they should obey the law. She said the parties started about a year ago with car parking on the acreage property regularly spilling on to the street.
The Southern Star called a number on the website promoting the parites. A woman who declined to give her name insisted the venue was not a club but a place where friends held parties.
She said the $80 entry fee for single men was to cover food and other expenses.
In October a show cause notice issued to the land owner by the council was returned to sender and last week the council was preparing to serve the notice again. Rates records indicate the property is not owner-occupied.
Councillor Angela Owen-Taylor (Parkinson) said whoever received the notice had 20 days to respond with a submission. She said she wouldn’t support a development application for the club because it was incompatible with the school and surrounding residential subdivisions.
The school declined to comment.
Queensland Council of Parents and Citizens Associations president Margaret Black has called for the same rules that prohibit adult book shops within 200m of schools to be extended to swingers clubs.
``They have their place but next to a school is not their place. We would prefer to see them in an area distant from the school,’’ Mrs Black said.

Photographer, Assistant Arrested In Swingers Event

WINDSOR LOCKS - A photographer who police say took pictures of sex acts during a "swingers' night" at the Beverly Hills Suites bar last month was arrested today.

David Shadowfax, 49, of 14 Squires Road in Madison was charged with criminal liability to commit obscenity and criminal liability to commit public indecency, Capt. Chester DeGray said.
Also arrested was Shadowfax's assistant - his wife. Tania Shadowfax, 37, of the same address was arrested on the same charges, he said.
Both turned themselves in at about 6 a.m. and were scheduled to appear in Superior Court in Enfield later in the day, DeGray said.
The arrests followed a November visit by undercover town police and state liquor control agents. They found some of the swingers engaging in oral sex and intercourse in the bar, and a photographer taking pictures, the arrest warrant states.
Also arrested was Nicholas Maulucci, the event's organizer; his wife, Lisette Maulucci; Sharok Jacobi, the owner of the Beverly Hills Suites and Brian B. True, the licensed permittee of the bar, Club 91.
DeGray said he doesn't expect any more arrests.

Swingers Group Shut Down

They said on weekends the club would run "Swingers Groups" where men and women came to either engage in or watch sexual activity. When police ran a sting operation last month, they said they witnessed it first hand.

On the evening of November 8, 2008, police report seeing 60 to 70 people inside the club. All of them paid a $40 admission to get in.

Police arrested the three men who they said organized the "Swingers Groups." Nicholas Maulucci faces obscenity and public indecency charges while Brian True and Sharok Jacobi face criminal liability to commit those two charges. Liquor law violations at the club included smoking inside a public building, nudity, sex acts, not serving food and improper use of a service bar.

However, the two attorneys representing True and Jacobi said they maintain their clients' innocence.

"At this time the only thing we can say is that we are denying the allegations," said Aaron Romano, the attorney for Brian True.

"As far as the substance of the charges go, it's very early. I've recently been retained. I haven't had a chance to look at the file. It would be inappropriate to comment at this time, other than to assure you my client maintains his innocence," said J. Patten Brown, the attorney for Jacobi.
